In This Vicinity, The Granite Is Extensively Sheeted By Several Systems Of Jointing Of Which The Most Prominent Dip Steeply And Strike N15w, S40w, And S40e.
Alteration processes:
For Three Or Four Inches From The Vein, The Feldspars Of The Wall Rock Are Stained With Copper, And Thin Fractures Extending Out From The Vein Are Lined With Malachite And Hematite For Distances Up To One Foot
