Radiometric Dating Suggests That Magmatic Crystallization Occured At Approximately 47 M.Y. K-Ar Biotite, Fission-Track Allanite, Rb-Sr Isochron Ages That Fall Between 38 And 42 M.Y. Probably Represent The Age Of Postcrystallization Hydrothermal Alteration (Stoffel And Mcgroder, 1990).
