Structure:Cerro Colloadar Is Made Up Of Cretaceous Sedimentary Rocks Comprising Sandstone Of The Goyllarisquiga Formation (Aptian) And Shale And Limestone Of The Machay Group (Albian). They Are Intruded By A Number Of Sills And Dikes Of Quartz Diorite Porphyry, Composed Of Phenocrysts Of Plagioclase (Zoned Andesine) And Hornblende Set In A Fine-Grained Groundmass Of Feldspar And Quartz With Accessory Apatite And Magnetite.
