Alteration processes:Wall-rock silicification extends at least 10 inches into both the footwall and hanging wall of the vein (Bundtzen and others, 1982 [OFR 157]). Later hydrothermal silica vein injection was accompanied by the emplacement of free gold with arsenopyrite, stibnite, and boulangerite.
