Alteration processes:

Quartz stockwork veining in limestone and pervasive chalcedonic quartz replacements in limestone breccias are found throughout the prospect. Locally, small amounts of iron-oxide gossan are found in quartz veins, and some black oxides with cubic and hexagonal shapes are found in the gossan (DiMarchi and others, 1993).
