Structure:THE REGIONAL DIP OF THE CAMBRIAN ROCKS IS GENTLY EASTWARD, BUT LOCALLY THESE ROCKS DIP PERIPHERALLY AWAY FROM THE PRECAMBRIAN PEAKS OF THE BASEMENT, PROBABLY BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENTIAL COMPACTION OF THE SEDIMENTARY ROCKS.
